Our very own Bob Beeson was awarded - through a unanimous panel decision at SCB - the 2022 Michael Newth Trophy for outstanding services to CWBC.
Speaking at the ceremony, the County Secretary said
...... "This award is given to Bob Beeson at Crowborough Wolfe Bowls Club who, in the opinion of the adjudicating panel, has done more than the average person for the benefit of their club. The person who does not necessarily hold office - will have been a perfect supporter for CWBC undertaking a multiplicity of duties in a quiet manner and not seeking recognition over a considerable period of time"
