We travelled to Popes Mead on Saturday 14th December for the Annual CrowPope fixture, and enjoyed a beautiful day, great bowls, fabulous company and a very close result - the best yet for Crowborough.
Only losing overall by 4 shots, everyone had a wonderful day out before the Christmas Party, and our thanks to our wonderful friends at Popes Mead for making us welcome and sharing in the usual festive fayre of mulled wine, more mulled wine, even more mulled wine and mince pies on top !
The trophy heads back to Popes Mead and into their cabinet, in time for next year and Mr & Mrs Kennard to open it, polish it and put it back again !!
